Course Outline:
Porcelain veneers can be an incredible benefit for a patient’s smile but the details
are key. This course will take you step by step how to take a patient
from the initial consult to completion with predictability and confidence!
Dr. Greg Gillespie and Dr. Kevin Brown will highlight and demonstrate how to take
appropriate diagnostic information, including high quality intra/extra oral
photographs, impressions, bite registrations, and diagnostic wax-ups for a trial
smile. Proper provisionalization and lab communication will be shown and
discussed!
The live patient demonstration will be treating teeth #4-13 for lithium
disilcate porcelain veneers and will show how to achieve minimal tooth reduction
preparation techniques with a shrink wrap provisionlization technique. Doctors
will leave feeling more confident using tried and true principles of planning and
execution for porcelain veneers.
Learning Objectives:
  • Understand essential information for proper veneer planning
  • Apply proper planning to execute “test drive” smiles for veneer patients
  • Review the power of high quality digital photography
  • Learn veneer preparation guidelines for several types of porcelains
  • Understand variations of provisionalization techniques
In Person Hands-On Participation:
  • Create guides for you own “trial smile”
  • Photography practice for every step of the veneer process
  • Practice different forms of provisional veneers
  • Perform a “test drive” on models
