Synopsis

This lecture will provide an explanation of different designs and material properties for implant abutment and crown materials. It will also explain how to achieve a tried and true method for proper communication between you and your laboratory technician. Take control of your implant crown design and stop having the lab technician guess what you want!

Objectives

  1. Discuss differences in implant abutment design (stock, custom)
  2. Discuss differences in implant abutment and crown materials
  3. Create effective communication between you and the laboratory to make the exact restoration you want.

Russell Deal

DDS

Dr. Deal is a 3rd-year Graduate Prosthodontic resident who completed her DDS at the University of Washington. He is the 13th recipient of the David H. Wands Fellowship as well as a recipient of the Stanley D. Tylman Research Grant. He plans to continue working in the Greater Seattle Area after graduation this year.
