Description

Ever since the mandated shut down of all dental and specialist practices in the Pacific Northwest , it has become clear that none of us dentists will continue to practice as we did before upon re opening on May 18-2020. What exactly should be considered in preparation?

On the one hand we need to understand and be in compliance with the current CDC and ADA guidelines . On the other hand , we must prepare our dental teams to grow confident and feel safe in their new work environment and ongoing pandemic. It is an emotional process and we feel that practiced knowledge of the team is a vital role. We must understand and be able to educate our patients on virus transmission , its viability in the dental environment and what measures we can and have taken take to protect ourselves and our patients.

This webinar aims to address this and consists of two parts : what we need to know in dental practice regarding the disease process , the …. “ Dental Essentials on COVID-19”
i. Transmission route
ii. Infection control
iii. PPE recommendations and aerosol management
And ….the actual steps we have taken in our practice to incorporate these facts and to prepare for the transition into the new dental normal
