The Washington Academy of General Dentistry (“Washington AGD”) would like to notify the public of a fraudulent employment scam currently involving the unauthorized use of our organization’s name, logo, contact information, and executive identity.
It has come to our attention that fraudulent job postings have been distributed through the Handshake AI employment platform falsely representing employment opportunities with Washington AGD.
Individuals have reported receiving:
- Fraudulent job acceptance emails;
- Fake onboarding communications;
- Unauthorized employment contracts;
- Documents falsely bearing the signature of our CEO
Please be advised:
- These communications are NOT authorized by the Washington Academy of General Dentistry.
- Washington AGD did not create or approve these job postings or employment offers.
- Any employment contracts or hiring documents received through these fraudulent postings should be considered fraudulent.
We have formally reported this matter to the appropriate authorities and requested immediate removal of the fraudulent content. Our organization is actively cooperating with legal counsel and law enforcement regarding this incident.

- Do not provide personal, banking, or financial information;
- Do not send money or payments;
- Do not click suspicious links or download attachments;
- Monitor your accounts for unusual activity;
- Report the incident to local law enforcement and the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) @IC3.gov
